If you would like to delete your account for any Siyanee mobile application and all the data associated with it, follow the steps below. The same email-based process applies to every Siyanee app; the specific items deleted vary by app and are listed in the “What gets deleted” section.
How to request deletion
Send an email to support@siyanee.com from the email address you used to sign up for the app, with:
- Subject:
Delete my [App Name] account— for example,Delete my Map Field account. - Body:Confirm that you want your account and all associated data deleted. No specific wording required — a one-line “please delete my account” is fine. If you use multiple Siyanee apps and want to delete more than one, please send a separate email for each app account you want deleted.
Sending the request from your registered email address is how we verify the request belongs to the account holder. If you have lost access to that email, contact support and we will work through alternate identity verification (for example, asking about specific data on the account that only you would know).
How long it takes
We process deletion requests within seven business days of receipt. You will receive a confirmation email when the deletion is complete.
If seven business days pass without a confirmation, please follow up — we want to hear about it if a request slipped through.
What gets deleted
The exact items deleted depend on which Siyanee app the account belongs to.
Map Field
- Your account credentials (email and password) stored in our authentication service.
- All field boundaries you have captured, with their names, GPS coordinates, and remarks.
- Any settings you have configured, such as sampling distance and language preference.
- Your
userNameand any other profile data stored on your behalf.
Hindi Praveshikaa
- Your account credentials (email and password) stored in our authentication service.
- Your learning history: lesson progress, quiz responses, saved kathas, and any study groups you have joined or created.
- Your profile name.
- Your language preference and other app settings.
Home Maker
- Your account credentials (email and password) stored in our authentication service.
- Your inventory items, staff records, attendance logs, shopping lists, and calendar entries.
- Your profile name.
- Your language preference and other app settings.
What if I change my mind?
Once your account is deleted, the data cannot be recovered. If you reinstall the app and sign up again later with the same email address, it will be a fresh account; previous data will not return.
If you have sent a deletion request and want to cancel before we process it, reply to your original email or send a new email with subject Cancel my [App Name] account deletion request.
